Para a campanha comemorativa dos festejos de São João, o refrigerante Guaraná Jesus trouxe uma homenagem aos grupos folclóricos locais que durante todo o ano mantém viva a cultura do Norte do Brasil. Nas ilustrações que compõem a campanha foram utilizados personagens remetendo a alguns dos símbolos da cultura popular do Maranhão, como o Boi Bumbá, mesclados ao líquido do refrigerante, que também já é um símbolo do estado do Manhanhão.
To cellebrate the Saint John’s festivities (one of the oldest and most popular partys in Brazil), the soda Guaraná Jesus brought a tribute to the local folk groups that keep the culture of Northern Brazil alive. In the illustrations of the campaign there is some characters representing symbols of the popular culture in State of Maranhão, such as the Boi Bumbá (center of the local festivities), mixed with the liquid of the soft drink, which it is itself a symbol of that State.
